Nehemia 9:28

SV	Maar als zij rust hadden, keerden zij weder om kwaad te doen voor Uw aangezicht; zo verliet Gij hen in de hand hunner vijanden, dat zij over hen heersten; als zij zich dan bekeerden, en U aanriepen, zo hebt Gij hen van den hemel gehoord, en hebt hen naar Uw barmhartigheden tot vele tijden uitgerukt.
WLC	וּכְנֹ֣וחַ לָהֶ֔ם יָשׁ֕וּבוּ לַעֲשֹׂ֥ות רַ֖ע לְפָנֶ֑יךָ וַתַּֽעַזְבֵ֞ם בְּיַ֤ד אֹֽיְבֵיהֶם֙ וַיִּרְדּ֣וּ בָהֶ֔ם וַיָּשׁ֙וּבוּ֙ וַיִּזְעָק֔וּךָ וְאַתָּ֞ה מִשָּׁמַ֧יִם תִּשְׁמַ֛ע וְתַצִּילֵ֥ם כְּֽרַחֲמֶ֖יךָ רַבֹּ֥ות עִתִּֽים׃
Trans.	ûḵənwōḥa lâem yāšûḇû l^a‘ăśwōṯ r^a‘ ləfāneyḵā wat^a‘azəḇēm bəyaḏ ’ōyəḇêhem wayyirədû ḇâem wayyāšûḇû wayyizə‘āqûḵā wə’atâ miššāmayim tišəm^a‘ wəṯaṣṣîlēm kər^aḥămeyḵā rabwōṯ ‘itîm:

AC	כח וכנוח להם--ישובו לעשות רע לפניך ותעזבם ביד איביהם וירדו בהם וישובו ויזעקוך ואתה משמים תשמע ותצילם כרחמיך רבות עתים
ASV	But after they had rest, they did evil again before thee; therefore leftest thou them in the hand of their enemies, so that they had the dominion over them: yet when they returned, and cried unto thee, thou heardest from heaven; and many times didst thou deliver them according to thy mercies,
BE	But when they had rest, they did evil again before you: so you gave them into the hands of their haters, who had rule over them: but when they came back and made their prayer to you, you gave ear to them from heaven; again and again, in your mercy, you gave them salvation;
Darby	But when they had rest, they did evil again before thee; and thou didst leave them in the hand of their enemies, and they had dominion over them; and again they cried unto thee, and thou heardest [them] from the heavens, and many times didst thou deliver them, according to thy mercies.
ELB05	Aber sobald sie Ruhe hatten, taten sie wiederum Böses vor dir. Da überließest du sie der Hand ihrer Feinde, daß diese über sie herrschten; und sie schrieen wiederum zu dir, und du hörtest vom Himmel her und errettetest sie nach deinen Erbarmungen viele Male.
LSG	Quand ils eurent du repos, ils recommencèrent à faire le mal devant toi. Alors tu les abandonnas entre les mains de leurs ennemis, qui les dominèrent. Mais, de nouveau, ils crièrent à toi; et toi, tu les entendis du haut des cieux, et, dans ta grande miséricorde, tu les délivras maintes fois.
Sch	Wenn sie aber zur Ruhe kamen, taten sie wiederum Böses vor dir; alsdann überließest du sie der Hand ihrer Feinde; die herrschten über sie. Wenn sie dann wieder zu dir schrieen, erhörtest du sie vom Himmel her und errettetest sie oftmals nach deiner großen Barmherzigkeit.
